Hands On MLD Courses

Hands On Lymphatic Drainage techniques are an integration of specialised methods that have been drawn from 20 plus years of practice and research. Throughout our courses practitioners build or continue to develop skills and refresh their knowledge about lymphatic drainage to secure their professional longevity.

Health practitioners and bodyworkers benefit from hands-on guidance with an expert and being educated in consistent practice methods. Through case studies our non-invasive, rhythmic hand techniques open new body systems’ pathways for quality assessment and treatment

Important Note: As per Massage Aotearoa New Zealand (MANZ) guidelines, MLD training is only available to Level 6+ Registered Massage Therapists (RMTs).

The content is designed for participants who have completed MLD Level I and Level II and the course spans 24 hours over three days. During this time, we will focus on treating various patterns that are integral to the curriculum

This course highlights the chance to work with real clients who have Lymphoedema, lipoedema, and phleboedema in a clinical setting. The training will also cover the management of cording, which is an extra part of the course.

  • Revising hand techniques MLD Level I & II
  • Revising bandaging techniques and medical taping
  • Practising on lymphoedema & lipoedema clients
  • Recognizing the primary three forms of fluid retention
  • Treatment of lymphatic Cording

By completing this advanced course, practitioners will increase their confidence and enhance the quality of their techniques. Additionally, they will expand their current skill level through newly acquired techniques, enabling them to:
